Wool blanket Perelika is younger and lighter sister Rhodope, but lower weight does not reduce its quality. Due to its low weight, it can be used as a practical companion on the move.
A slightly softer manufacturing process guarantees to Perelika blanket airiness and fluffiness that attracts to be wrapped on a rural porch while watching the starry night. On the other hand, it is still a mechanically cleaned wool, ie. that there may be traces of organic impurities, especially grasses, in places. Perelika Blanket is woven exclusively from the Rodopian wool. Our manufacturer travels with the ransom delivery even the most remote pasture areas of the mountains and buys the wool directly from the shepherds.
Perelika is number one in combining colors and patterns – in our offer are single-colored, for example deep red or green blankets, but also soft pastel shades of blue, pink and purple, or nice brown-and-white variants. Every blanket in this series also has hand-knit ends.
MAINTENANCE
Wash cold or at most 30 ° C, preferably on a woolen program, preferably using a lanolin-containing wool wash. If you are not sure whether your washing machine can handle woolen products sensitively, we recommend hand washing. Even coarser blankets will soften somewhat after washing. Do not bleach or blanket the blankets in a tumble dryer. You can clean and iron them chemically, but the iron temperature must not exceed 110 ° C. In general, it is not recommended to wash woolen products excessively, as wool during the washing process gradually loses its natural properties and abilities. We recommend that you frequently wind wool blankets and carpets in the fresh air, returning wool fibers to their natural qualities while preventing moth protection. If you are not sure how to proceed with your wool product, please contact us at info@balkanova.eco.
