Perelika wool blankets have a lower grammage than Rodopa and at the same time a slightly airier and fluffier structure. It is a classic plaid in many colour variations.
The Perelika wool blanket is the younger and lighter sister of the Rodopa, but the lighter weight does not detract from its quality. Thanks to its light weight, it can be used as a practical travel companion. Slightly finer manufacturing ensures Perelika's airiness and fluffiness, which makes it inviting to wrap up on a country porch while watching the starry night. On the other hand, it is still a mechanically cleaned wool, which means that traces of organic dirt, especially grasses, may appear in places. The Perelika blanket is woven entirely from rhodope wool. Our producer travels around the most remote pastoral areas of the mountains with a buying van and buys the wool directly from the shepherds.
Perelika is number one in combining colours and patterns - our range includes solid colours, such as deep red or green blankets, but also soft pastel shades of blue, pink and purple, or warm brown and white variants. Each blanket in this range also has hand-tufted ends.
Wash cold or at a maximum of 30°C, preferably on a wool programme, preferably using a wool detergent containing lanolin. If you are unsure whether your washing machine can sensitively wash wool products, we recommend hand washing. Even coarser blankets will soften somewhat after washing. Do not bleach or tumble dry the blankets. They can be dry-cleaned and ironed, but the temperature of the iron must not exceed 110 °C. In general, it is not recommended to wash woollen products too often, as wool gradually loses its natural properties and abilities during washing. It is recommended to air out wool blankets and carpets frequently in the fresh air, which both restores the natural qualities of the wool fibre and prevents moths.
