Wool kilim "Elibelinde"

A beautiful pattern in a completely natural style—that is, dyed only with natural dyes—even though it might not look that way at first glance, right? This is an Anatolian kilim, meaning it comes from the Asian part of Turkey. It features one of the traditional local patterns. All the Anatolian kilims in our selection—including this one—are woven on a woolen, not a cotton, warp. It is not woven with as fine a yarn as our Balkan kilims, so the weaving process is slightly less time-consuming. That’s also why its price per square meter is lower than that of our Balkan kilims. Its main—though not only—motif is the “elibelinde,” which means “hands on hips” in Turkish. Can you spot them?

All our products are stored in our warehouse on Karoliny Světlé Street in Prague's Old Town, close to our brick-and-mortar store. This means we can ship orders on the same or following business day. Orders for personal pickup are prepared for pickup within a few tens of minutes (during our store's business hours).
