What carpet put in the hallway and what bedroom? With high hair or smoothly woven?
The basic criterion that we divide woolen carpets is whether they have long hair or are smoothly woven. Smooth woven carpets can withstand greater load and therefore fit into busy places such as hallway. They are also more practical for maintenance, if they are contaminated and at the same time have much greater resistance to walking.
In through the rooms, corridors, halls, staircases, kitchens, bathrooms, but also children's rooms, the most is used treads. It does not have to be just elongated fillings of corridors and staircases, treads are also produced in classic dimensions of piece carpets. If you don't see any of them in the offer, we can make it to order - exactly according to your needs, in size and colors according to your wishes. We will produce and deliver it within two months. The advantage of custom production is the price for M2, which is also the same as the price of the carpet, which we have in stock.

The advantage of the tread is that you can wash it in the washing machine, of course, if its dimensions and weight allow you. Watch it on a woolen program and will be like new again. And if one side is irretrievably damaged, step or soiled, simply turn the tread. The carpet is double -sided and will serve you twice as long!
Carpet woven
Smoothly woven carpets are our hand -woven. Usually, even because of their price, they are not placed in the most stressed places. Thanks to distinctive colors and patterns, it is always a solitaire who will negotiate in any space. It is also good to take into account that its distinctiveness predetermines him to be the dominant of the interior.

With their famous history, which has earned them a leading place in European salons at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries you can get acquainted with here. Kilses known even under the nickname of the Balkan pearl, so far produced only by hand, from the dyeing of yarn to weaving itself. Believe it or not, weaving one square meter of kilim takes 10-14 days! Due to the density of weaving, these kilims are very durable and have a long life. It is often reported that they can withstand 20 years of very intense burden, on each side, because here we are talking about double -sided carpets. Altogether 40 years of sharp operation.
Carpets with high hair
A counterpart to a smoothly woven kilim and treads are carpets with high hair. The hair length is 3-5 cm (classic carpet) up to 20-25 cm (cottage).
Classic carpets With the final height of about 3 cm, you can use in the living room, bedroom and nursery. They can withstand a heavy load and, thanks to their higher weight, hold well in place and do not move, even without additional securing, for example, rubber pads. These carpets can also be used in a small format as a seat on a chair or bench. We will also be happy to make this type of carpet to order in your desired size and color.
Classic carpets are made of spinned wool - specifically from the pre -cut pieces of woolen yarn, manually connected to the woolen warp. The nasty yarn creates the impression of a moss surface that is typical of classic carpets. It is the same production method that is used to bind Persian carpets and they have quite a lot in common with them.

Guber It is a lightweight and machine -made, including a cost -effective variant of the classic carpet. It is a light carpet made from an unproven wave that is wandering into the outline on the automatic condition. The surface affects the touch gently and looks like a lamb fur, but do not be mistaken. It is a woven product of the editing wool, so no sheep died because of its production. Its advantage over fur is low weight, which facilitates handling and maintenance. Natural appearance will be appreciated by lovers of natural aesthetics, but also pets, for which the governorate can create a cozy bed.
It relaxes well on the governorate, so it can also be used in yoga and meditation exercises. Due to the nature of the governorate and its low weight, we recommend its use in the bedroom or other less frequented and loaded rooms. Guber is also used as a bedspread or divan, or as a seat cushion. Thanks to the low weight, you can easily wash it in the washing machine, which is impossible for other carpets.

The unique one between our carpets is Rodopské hand -bound chalichte. It will find use in rooms for relaxation - bedrooms, living rooms, libraries, in front of the fireplace. It has a distinctive appearance, which can remind the fur coat of some large tura from the Central European eye, not standing on the Karakachaca wave from which it is made. Its natural elegance is suitable for a wide range of interiors - minimalist, in retro style, functionalist, or even Scandinavian - we also have a number of customers.
It tends to become a dominant element of the interior, which you should have in planning the house. Chalichte has a higher weight, so he holds well in place. In addition to using it on the floor it can also be used as an original bedspread over a double bed or couch. We will be happy to make it in the required size and color.
It is a very distinctive carpet with an interesting history that you can read about here. It is still produced only by manual wool hair up to 20-25 cm long in a woolen warp. The final height of the carpet is about 10 cm. Due to the fur, but it is again a cut wave, so even because of its production, no animal died.

Natural or colored?
In this case, it is purely a question of taste. All types of carpets are made from a natural uncoloured wave. If you like the natural look of the carpet, you have a really wide selection. If you want a color carpet, then you can choose between kilims, treads and classic carpets.
In particular, Chalište makes its natural color scheme unique - each individual piece is an original, in which the individual shades from light white to amber, shades of gray, gray -brown, chestnut, to dark black wool on the surface of Khalište spill in fine waves…
However, when ordering a tailor -made order, this is to be taken into account - even if we get the assignment on a monochrome carpet in a light brown shade, the resulting impression will be destined for the currently available Karakachačan wool and at the same time it will reflect the talent and artistic apt of the weaver. In any case, however, it will be an original carpet, the only one of its kind.
In the uncoloured version we also produce gubers, in natural light-creamy wool color. Natural tones look good and classic carpets, where we have three yarn in stock-light in white-beige, gray-brown and dark brown. In these shades you can produce monochrome but also multicolored carpets - typically a model of hermeline. On the other hand, for example, the coffee shade is achieved by using light and dark yarn simultaneously. For classic carpets we also have a wide range of color yarns, from which we make the carpet.

Natural colors look good for treads. We offer monochrome and multicolored treads as standard only from natural yarns. But for treads are distinctive colors, respectively. Combining multicolored stripes. These carpets are based on the tradition of brightly colored Bulgarian carpets called Čerga, which are characterized by distinctive multicolored stripes. Of course, more subtle color combinations can be achieved, depending on you and your assignment. Newly, we also have geometric patterns that can be selected in color to fine -tune your interior as needed.
A completely separate chapter are hand -woven kilims, which we will make from both natural non -stained yarn and color yarns. Kilims are typical of distinctive colors and for combining color yarns are very important patterns. For traditional patterns, color balance has been achieved over the centuries, which almost does not allow us to detach the eyes from Kilim. However, if you have a different idea and want to adapt a kilim color, it is no problem for us. Given that kilims are melting manually, there is no need to reset automatic states - everything is done directly on the go only on weaving itself. We can adapt the shades of yarn to the last detail. And at Kilims we offer one more specialty - yarn for the production of your kilim can only color from natural sources according to traditional recipes. The resulting impression of a naturally colored kilim is slightly less clarity and expression of colors - as if from the beginning it has carried a natural patina of decades and a beautiful balanced combination of colors.

Hand -woven/tied or machine woven?
This is especially an economic choice for a change. Hand weaving kilims is the most demanding time, after all, one square meter is one wearing 10 - 14 days at an average eight -hour shift. It is logical that such time demands must be reflected in the Kilim final price. Its value, however, rather grows, as the weaving of Bulgarian kilims from the old plain is written among the intangible cultural estates under the UNESCO protection and every kilim is de facto a unique work of art. Kilim can serve well to store free funds.
It is similar to Rodopských Halštět, although its production is no longer so time -consuming, it is still a hand binding. Any weaver that has a long -term experience with the cottage binding, while involving its creativity and talent. In both cases it is a craft that is passed from generation to generation. The classic carpet is also produced by hand and it takes several days to bind one average carpet, similar to Chalište. All products in the hand -woven/bound category are of great quality and very long life.

Machine -woven treads and gubers, on the other hand, are characterized by simple and time -saving production, which makes their price per meter of square much more favorable. The Guber is a third price compared to its hand -tied counterpart - CHALIST. With the treadmill, it is only a fifth price compared to its smoothly woven counterpart - Kill - even a fifth price! Therefore, if you are looking for a financially undemanding solution, focus on treads and governorates. At the same time, these machine carpets - especially treads - are recommended when looking for carpets for extremely stressed spaces such as corridors, kitchens or children's rooms.
