The difference is that our classic merino blankets are woven from merino with a fibre thickness of 25 microns, whereas this new extra fine range is made from merino with a fibre thickness of 21 microns. The smaller the fibre thickness, the greater the softness! In practice, this is a similar difference to that between cotton and silk. It is therefore an even finer blanket than our classic merino!
