These hand bound carpets come from Rhodope manufactures and are made of soft woollen yarn. Their manufacturing is similar to that used when producing Persian carpets.
During the manufacturing of these carpets the yarn is first cut on uniformly sized pieces. The local weavers then bound the yarn into a woollen basis according to a draft. It takes approximately ten days to weave a carpet of the average size 140x200cm. After the weaving the carpets are controlled optically and the yarn is cut so that the final height is 3 cm.
The simple aesthetic of these patterns that are in our offer will make cosy and warm traditional and modern interiors and it is suitable for frequented parts of the flat. The woollen carpets are suitable in children rooms thanks to the nature, antibacterial and hypoallergenic essence of the woollen yarn, great isolation properties but also an easy maintenance.
We simply offer you elegant natural carpets that are bound with non dyed white, gray or brown yarn.
The other carpets from this collection are named Escher after a famous Dutch painter Maurits Cornelis Escher who focused on perspective and optical illusions in his work. While looking at the geometrical cubes the spectator comes to see three-dimensional pyramids. These patterns will look great in modern interiors where the owner is not restricted by conventions.
Wash it in a cold or lukewarm water (up to 25°C), using a detergent for wool washing. Dry cleaning is possible. We recommend you to maintain it by airing, beating and vacuuming.
